Can't send photos from albums other than "Camera Roll".

anon 14 years ago updated 12 years ago 12
Can't send photos from albums other than "Camera Roll". The app seems to think it can... you can pick the photos and go to the send screen, you can see a list on your web browser (Mac ox x 10.6 in this case), but you can't actually get them. Try the ZIP file option, you get a zip file full of zero-byte jpg files.

Not iOS5 compatable?

Paul Edwards 13 years ago updated 13 years ago 8
It doesn't seem to work properly with iOS5! it will download a single file from a PC, but if you select more than 1, it downloads the first and then the app crashes. I have tried it on several devices and they all do the same. As the developers addition of iOS5 has been out for months, should there not be an update?

Placing photos in different albums on iPad

Enrique Rodriguez 14 years ago updated 12 years ago 6
Unfortunately placing photos in a different albums in the 'Photos' app is currently not possible. We would love to be able to fix this, even for our own use. However, with the current version of the iPhone/iPad SDK is not possible.

Apple does not provide an approved way to save photos to a new album or even to create one. We are limited with the access that Apple gives developers to the iPhone/iPad photos and it is currently very restricted :( We hope there will be a way to create albums in the next release of iPhone OS for iPad (coming at the end of the summer) to fix this issue and make our app better.

We hope this is an understandable answers. Please contact us if you have any question or comment.

Thanks for using Photo Transfer App

Create an ad-hoc network using a Windows Vista computer

Juan Luis 14 years ago updated by anonymous 10 years ago 5
Sometimes when connecting through a normal wifi connection fails a solution is to create an ad-hoc (direct) network between your computer and your device.

Please follow the steps described on this link (by Microsoft) to create an ad-hoc network using your Windows Vista computer:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wi...

After you create the ad-hoc network on your computer go to your iPhone or iPad and using the 'Settings' app join the ad-hoc wifi network that you just created.

After joining the ad-hoc network on your device open 'Photo Transfer App' and you should get a new address that you can use from your computer's web browser to start transferring photos.

Hope this helps!

App can't find all photos on iPhone 5

Marte Langeland 9 years ago updated 9 years ago 12
I have an iPhone 5, updated to version 8.1.2, and I'm running the app to manually upload pictures from phone to Flickr. However, I can't find all my photos, just about 1/3 of them.

I open the app, select to upload to Flickr, and choose Select & UPLOAD. Then, I choose a folder called All photos, but only some of my 1500+ photos on the phone are displayed.

I tried bypassing the issue by creating a new album on my phone and adding some of the photos I can't see in the Transfer-app. When opening the Transfer-app, I see the newly created iPhone album (even with a cover photo from one of the photos in it). However, If I enter the album from the Transfer-app, it is empty.

Anyone with the same issue?

Both devices on same network, but Photo Transfer App doesn't recognize.

Hi. I have downloaded the Photo Transfer App to my mac and have it on my iPad. I have verified and verified that they are both running on the same wi-fi network. However, when I click on "Discover Devices" on my mac, it states that no devices were discovered. Any solutions to this? Thank you.

Photo Transfer App Dead

Jamesdfser 4 years ago updated by Juan Luis 4 years ago 1

Hi. Sorry to say Photo Transfer App is still not working for me after many years of being the best transfer app. I’ve reinstalled on my two iPads, one IPhone, and my PC laptop. I make sure my versions are updated all the same 7.4 and they just can’t find each other. Bluetooth hasn’t worked for years. The only error code I get is with a Bluetooth attempt. (NSNetServicesErrorDo-main error -72008)I paid for this app and it doesn’t work anymore.Sad to see it go.😞
