Thanks for contacting us. Yes, our app allows to pick individual photos to be uploaded to Dropbox. You can pick and choose what photos you want to be uploaded from your Device to your Dropbox account and you can also later download photos from Dropbox back to the device. Please note that you need to purchase the Dropbox plugin inside of the app to have access to this functionality.
We hope it will be useful to you. let us know if you have other questions or comments.

Hi Robin,
This is Enrique, one of the developers of the app. Amber called my attention on this issue and I will be glad to help you figuring this out. It would be great if you can answer these quick questions so I can better understand the problem:
1) What version of iOS are you using on your iPad? You can view this on the ‘Settings app’ > General > About
2) What type of wifi network did you use to transfer your photos? Was it a home or public wifi hotspot? Also, did you use our Mac app to transfer your photos or the web browser?
3) Do you have ‘Photo Stream’ enabled? Photo Stream is made by Apple and it basically makes a copy of all the photos you save on a device so they become accessible on any device with the same iTunes account
Finally, I would suggest you to try this to delete photos from your iPad if you are using iOS5 or iOS6:
1) Open the ‘Photos’ app on your iPad
2) Touch on the ‘Albums’ tab on the top of the screen. Then touch on the ‘Saved Photos’ album (if you have an iPad 1) or ‘Camera roll’ if you have an iPad with camera.
3) Touch on the ‘Action button’ (the one with a little arrow inside) and then you will be able to select photos and delete them when pressing the ‘trash’ icon.
I hope this helps you. Let me know when you have a chance to try the procedure I described here. I will be glad to continue helping.
Best regards,
Enrique

Hello,
Yes, with PNG files this may happen because PNG files do not have exif information and therefore iOS places them in the today section. But this is unrelated to our app, to test this you can send yourself the file via email and then save it from the iOS native mail application and you will see the same result.
Again, our app takes the file as it is and saves it directly to the 'Photos' app using the Apple provided interfaces. There is no manipulation whatsoever between transfer and saving the file and you should get the exact same results as saving from other apps including the native apps from Apple.
With .MOV files they should include the date in the headers but you need to make sure that they files were not manipulated with other programs that may change the header information. You can try the same as I suggested before of sending the mov file via email (a small one) and see that it will be saved in the same place as our app.
Let me know if you have other comments.
Best,
Enrique

Hi Kerry,
One extra note to this. If you are on iOS7 then if you transfer a photo that say you took in February 2013 (regardless of the name) then the photo will appear in the right place under the 'Photos' tab (Moments/Collections/Years) when you drill down to February, however, it will appear as the LAST photo in the Camera Roll because the Camera roll is sorted on the order the photos were saved not on the date the photo was taken.
Also, as Amber mentioned it, it is very important to make sure that the photos were not modified by a program that removes the EXIF headers as to not loosing the date information of the photo.
Let us know if you have other questions or comments.
Best regards,
Enrique

Hello,
We've done some extra tests to verify what you describe on your previous post but we are still unable to replicate what you mentioned. We transferred images with the same image name already taken by the file system and the photos are still placed in the correct place.

I hope this makes sense. Please let us know if you have other comments or a way that we can replicate what you are seeing.
Thanks,
Enrique

Hello,
We have done a few tests with this and we don't see this behavior. Perhaps the photos that you transferred where somehow modified with another app that maybe remove the exif information? How were those photos taken? Let's try something to see if the date of the photos that you transferred is still stored as part of the metadata:
1) Open Photo Transfer App on your iPad mini
2) Go to 'Send' > 'Device' > 'Select photos & videos'
3) Find the photo you transferred and then long press over it. This should bring the photo in full screen. Then press on the 'info' button on the top right corner.
4) Check that the date of the photo is correct.
Let me know when you have a chance to try this. Also, would be interesting if you try transferring another set of photos from the iPhone to the iPad mini to see if you see the same issue.
Best regards,
Enrique

BTW, we are preparing an update to match the new iOS7 UI, the update is coming soon.
Hello,
Thanks for contacting us. The photo metadata should be preserved in iOS7 as it did on iOS6. Where are you transferring your photos from? On the iOS7 'Photos' app you can view your photos either via the 'Photos' tab or the 'Albums' tab. On the 'Albums' tab you can see your photos as you did before on iOS6 (via Camera roll or other albums). On the 'Photos' tab they are organized by time so the photos will be arranged according to the 'exif' date which should correspond to the date the photo was taken. One tip is to go to the 'Years' view and drill down from there to the correct date where the photo should be.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have other questions.
Best,
Enrique

Hi Ken,
Thanks for contacting us. We are preparing a new version of the app to reflect the new iOS7 interface, however the app should work with no issues on iOS7 and iOS6. According to your screenshots it looks like you need to give permission for our app to read your photos. To do this on iOS7 is the same as on iOS6:
1) Open the Settings app on your iPad
2) Touch on 'Privacy'
3) Touch on 'Photos'
4) Make sure that 'Photo Transfer App' is enable to read photos
The word of 'CloudCam' is a bug in the last version of the app, it should say 'Photo Transfer App' and not 'CloudCam' (which is the name of another app we make).
Please let me know if you have any other question or need further assistance.
Best regards,
Enrique

Thanks for contacting us. To transfer photos from your mac to your iPad you need to have direct access to the JPG photo files. If your photos are on your iPhoto library then I would recommend to create a temporary folder on your computer, and then, simply drag and drop the photos that you want to transfer from iPhoto to the temporary folder. Once the JPG files are on the temporary folder you can use our mac app or the web interface to transfer your photos.
I hope this helps!
Kind regards,
Enrique
