What version of OS are you running on your Mac and is it only occurring whenever you discover the device? Have you been able to get past that point? Sometimes it takes a few attempts but the app shouldn't be crashing. We are however aware of some issues with our desktop app and the latest OSX update with Mac which we're currently working on an update for.
Something you can try is to uninstall our desktop app and then please reinstall it. Once you reinstall it, please make sure both devices are on the same network and then try to discover your devices.
In the meantime you can use the web browser to transfer your photos and videos with our app.

Are you on a home wifi network? If so can you tell me the make and model of your wifi router? Perhaps there is an issue with the configuration. Something else that you can try is to try and connect on another wifi network and see if you still experience the same problems.
Yes it's on a home wifi. And have tried two different ones. Have no issues with phone to iPad or to a pc. Only the Mac crashes. Routier is a dir632 and dir610. Dlink routiers
Hi Tony. I'm sorry you are having problems. Can you tell me the name of your iPad? Does it have some special characters on the name like '&' or '*' or ':'? We are looking at the situation and maybe an special character on the name is causing the problem. Also, how about album names with special characters?
