Photos not transferred into specified directory
I have an iPad 2 running iOS 5.0.1 and the version of Photo Transfer that I purchased today (12/6/2011). I am trying to move a large number of albums and associated photos from a Windows 7 machine and FireFox 8.0 to the iPad.
For a while everything goes fine, with the images going into the correct albums that I create. After a while I find that my albums aren't being created and all of the images are going into the Camera Roll directory.
I also note that all of the images appear in the Camera Roll directory as well as in the directory that I specified. Is this planned/expected? Deleting them out of Camera Roll deletes them from the specific album as well.
I will also point out that on a semi-regular basis the Photo Transfer App crashes on the same image, so I bypass that image. None of my photo editing software on the PC has any problems with the specific image. All of the names are similar (scan_xxxx.jpg).
This iPad is a gift for my 90 yo father and I want to get this wrapped up (literally) in the next day or two so that I can get it ready to ship to him.

where do my iPad photos go when I transfer to Macbook Pro
all the transfer steps seem to happen, but when I look on my Mac the only place I can find the transferred photos is in the Images scroll in Finder. They are not organized into groups or album of any recognizable type.

App closes when transferring from PC to iPhone!!
I have been successful in transferring photos from my iPhone (3G) to my PC (Windows 7, Firefox) - however, it will not transfer from the PC to iPhone. It seems to transfer from the PC to phone, but when the phone is starting to transfer files, the app closes and I end up back at the home screen. I've tried this several times with varying numbers of photos (from 22 to 4), and it happens ever time.

Batch downloading from iPad to a common Macbook file
can i download a batch of iPad photos to the same Macbook location? at present it seems that i have to specify a destination for each individual photo, a real pain if you have 100 photos to download

Two instruction video titles, but only one video
One of your instructional videos is labelled "Load photos from your iPad to your computer"
and the other is labelled "Load photos from your computer to your iPad", but, in fact, both videos show you how to load from your computer to your iPad. What gives?

Crashing and photo order problems

I purchased Photo Transfer App today on behalf of my boss so that I could transfer photos from his iPad to his wife's iPad and i'm experiencing some major problems that is basically making the app unusable for me at the moment.
1. The biggest problem I am having is random crashes on the sending iPad while transferring photos. When this happens I am left with a partially downloaded photo on the receiving iPad in the camera roll, and none of the photos that did transfer appear in the album I selected to receive into.
I have also had a crash when just trying to enter an album to select photos (this is on the receiving iPad when I was trying to verify the number of photos that were transferred).
2. Photo on the receiving iPad are not shown in the same order as on the sending iPad. This is especially frustrating when trying to work out where the transfer was up to after having the app crash.
3. On one occasion when transferring a batch of 100 photos even though the transfer was successful the receiving iPad only had 99 photos in the album. I'm not sure if the missing photo was at the start, end, or random location because of the photo ordering problem above.
4. Photos are added to the camera roll as well as the selected album on the receiving iPad (I understand this may be a limitation of the api but I'm mentioning it in case this is something you can change).
5. This is more of a feature request, it would be nice if it was possible to just transfer whole albums rather than having to pick photos within the albums, and not transfer duplicate photos.
Both iPads are iPad 2. Both are running ios 5.0.1. One is a 32gb wifi, the other is a 32gb 3g with no sim card. Both are connected to the same wireless network and can see each other without any issues.
The app was downloaded for the first time today from the app store on both iPad's so it is up to date.
As it stands because of the first three issues the app is unusable for me. Hopefully you can help.

Cannot put photos in a selected folder.
The Help screens show a field to select or create a folder for photos being transferred from the PC to the iPad. This does not appear when I run the application. This was a major factor in my purchase, as I do not want to just dump all my photos in a single folder.

where is the app on the screen?
i installed the app to my ipad, it says it's installed and can be seen in the System Preference page, but i can't find the app on the screen? what's wrong?

Resetting from iPad/iPhone interface to Computer interface
Worked fine until I accidentally clicked on send to iPhone or iPad - now the newer photos can only be transferred 5 at a time on the iPhone/iPad interface - seems to be now way to reset the app - even tried re-downloading. The older photos still transfer OK and display the computer interface and not the iPhone/iPad interface? Frank

I get 192.168.1 - Search page
iPhone & computer are connected to the same network. IP address on iPhone is 192.168.1.66:8080. I have been trying for over an hour. If I cannot connect, I've wasted my time & money and would like a refund please. Apps are supposed to be effortless and this one is not!
