Hi Mark, I'm NOT an employee here, so this answer is preliminary, pending a full answer from the developer.

I'm guessing if the images themselves are not corrupted, from the 90 albums becoming damaged, then you should be able to transfer them to your computers iPhoto program... If they can be seen by the Photo Transfer App
(I'm assuming iPhoto is a Mac program?)

Enrique can advise you of the best way to start transferring 16,000 pictures.
It's going to be time consuming, but do-able.
Hi Enrique,
May I add, videos and photos NOT created on the iDevice can also be transferred to the 'Photos' section of the iDevice.
(you may have confused some customers, with your last statement) :-)

They just have to be created on the PC or Mac in the valid file-types the iDevice supports. (Enrique can mention the file-types his update transfers)

Videos may need to be converted on the PC / Mac, first, before transferring.

The iPad2 even supports 1920x1080 resolution, as long as the supported file-type is made. ... I'm guessing the iPad3 can do more ... :-)
(I've done this already, on my iPad2)

If they don't have a video converter, and are low on $$$ to buy one ...
Let's also let them know of a FREE conversion program called Handbrake at ...
http://handbrake.fr/

:-)

By the way, Enrique, ... The App has really 'grown-up' (improved) in these last updates. The look of it is much nicer now, and function has improved too.

Are there any plans to add the HTML 5 availabilty to the web access browser interface?
It's possible it will only charge if it shows the numerical cost amount,
example ... $2.99
But if paid for already it may show "Buy App" if it was never on the new iDevice yet, but already purchased.

I heard something like this from another Developers Support site, but don't want to maybe give you the wrong info, on a theory.

It's best to wait.
Hmmmmm, I always thought if paid for, it says "Install".

Maybe you should wait until this is verified by Enrique, or Amber.

It won't hurt to wait :-) one or so days more.
Apple won't refund easily, but waiting won't cost anything. ;)
Yes! ... if the same eMail and any other of the same needed iTunes account info is used on the new device, as was used on the first.

Just click install,.. If it was going to request payment, you'd see a price there, instead of the word "Install"

When it's already on the device, the App shows "Update".
:-)

Use the same account login info you used when you purchased it on the iPad, to download it on the iPhone now.
Are you using the same login account info as the other iPad had when you first purchased that App?
Mike, have you viewed the post at his link?

It may help you solve your connection issues with the photo transfer App.
Hi Raymond,
I keep my location services Off until I need to transfer photos, from the iPad2 to my PC. I don't think it's needed to go from the PC or Mac to the iDevice.
(Enrique will have to verify that part)

This way, I can use the App, without having Apple always knowing where I am.

Big deal they see me at home when transferring photos. I give them the "finger" if they're looking through the camera too! ... :-)

As for flash videos not playing on it ... If the web site is using HTML 5 , the video shows fine. Yeah it's a pain some times, like not being able to attach files with the iOS 5.1 browser, but if more of us complain to the Apple Support site, about the things most annoying with their iOS, they'll consider changing it.

As for the credit card info, you can always remove it each time you purchase something, but I don't know if it's needed to be in for just updating an already purchased App.... If not, keep it out until a purchase is made, then remove the info again.

It's a bit annoying, but I've found the Apple iOS security is better and more reliable than a Windows or Android based phone, tablet, or other device.
As long as its not "Jail-broken" no one can get into it, or transfer files to / from it.

At least so far, anyway. :-)
