Hi Andy,
:-) ... its a bit more complicated trying to figure out what your router "sees" by simply looking at its config file.

I tried to find the PDF user guide, on the Cisco site, but could not, hoping that shows the settings in a graphical way, with tabs to press so each section can be examined separately, but if you can view these two posts, showing you what to look for, you may be able to figure it out yourself, looking thru your settings options.

It's possible, Enrique, or Amber may already be familiar with this router.

If not, you'll at least have a idea what you want to ask, for more help from Enrique, Amber, or other customers, who may volunteer an answer.

This post shows where on the iDevice to look, and what generally to look for.

This next post, with my gvdid1 name in the post near the end, mentions what needs changing in the router, in case another router with the same default name and/or IP# group exists in the area, so you'll know when it's your router(network) you're actually on.

Hi, I liked this idea so much, I mentioned your post... Here ...

Splendid, Enrique ... I didn't know that ...!
See? ... The more options, the better.

.... :-) ....
Hi Bryan,
Have you seen these two posts I made to help make sure you're using your own router, and not connected to a near-by router with the same default router name, and if you're on your own network?

This post explains how to check your iDevice to see if you're on the same network
https://getsatisfaction.com/photo_tra...

This one shows settings to make in your own router,
to have unique IP#'s and router name. (my post is further down the thread)
https://getsatisfaction.com/photo_tra...

If you still have a problem, please ask, or if it helps, please let us all know. :-)
Hi J.,
Have you entered the complete address info, in other words,
the http:// part and the :8080 ...
So your complete address to enter into the browser is ...

http://192.168.1.8:8080

Please make sure you use a colon : before the 8080 and not a period .
Also the colon after the http ...
Sometimes, some customers mistake the colon for the period when typing. :-)

If it still doesn't work, you can check your iDevice to see if it's in fact connected to YOUR own home router, instead of possibly connecting to another near-by router, reading this thread.

https://getsatisfaction.com/photo_tra...

And another post I made to help setup your home router, to be sure it's your own router you're connecting to ... at this thread ...

If you still have a problem, please post here again, or if it solves your issue, let us know, as well.
Enrique, I must have fire damage in my brain ... ! ... :-)

I understand what you meant now. ... I was thinking the file was being made into the large MOV file from the MP4, but now see you're right... It's originally a MOV file from the iPad2, and the "easyFTP" App was compressing it to a MP4 to transfer over that App. ... It wasn't changing the original file, just doing it in its own memory
:-)

I tell ya... maybe I do have some of that fire inhalation damage, myself ... 'cause I really thought it was an MP4 from the iPad, and forgot it gets made as a MOV on there.

You know why I was confused?
... not being able to see the original file extension at the end of the original file name. ... And when I saw it in that FTP program I assumed it was an MP4 file, on the iPad.

Hey, ... I'm really sorry I didn't get the concept earlier. :-p
**** Edited ****
You can ignore this post and view my next one ... :-)
DUH...!
****************
(I just cut my "jibber-jabber" out of this post, I didn't understand your concept before.)

This next part I left... Thanks.

------ By The Way ------
Thanks for the concern regarding the fire. ... Yes! .. It was actually one window away from mine, one floor down.

That fire-escape is shared by two apartments (flats) , and the window the flames were coming from was directly under, by one window over, from where mine is, one floor higher.

I took that video two rooms further to the back, (3 windows away) and still felt some of the heat from that fire while recording. ... I didn't hear if anyone was injured, but, if the person didn't get out on time, they most likely suffered from smoke-inhalation.
Hi Enrique,

The original video was taken with the iPad2, not sync'd from any, or to any other device.

I wanted to bring it to my computer, from it's original source, (my iPad2), but when I used the Photo Transfer App to send it to my PC it became the MOV larger file.

I recently uploaded it to my brothers FTP site, using the "easyFTP" App, so I could transfer it as an MP4 file without the conversion, then I put it onto a RapidShare account, so you can take a look at it.

Here are the links. (it's not anything private or personal, it's a fire in my building).

Video 1 is around 18 MB (the fire trucks come as the flames blaze)
https://rapidshare.com/files/17280492...

Video 2 is around 38 MB (fire raging now, the fireman walks up the ladder to the roof)
https://rapidshare.com/files/39580764...

Use the "Download" button on the page, at each link, to get the file with a computer.
You don't need to create an account to "Save To your Computers Hard Drive".

It's strange it converted it to a larger MOV, I transferred other videos, with the older version of the App, v3.1, and didn't have it convert to a larger MOV file at that time.

Maybe you can figure out what happened of you have these two original MP4 files.
Also, make sure you're using the same iTunes account login information, name and password, used when you first purchased it.

missing the password by one character can not let the update download
Passwords are case sensitive ... (Upper / lower case with shift on / off)

Does the download start, then stops before it's finished? ...
Or does it not even start, and gives some type of error afterwards?
Hi Enrique, maybe the developers, such as yourself, can suggest to Apple, to allow a separate folder to be created in the Videos section, to put private videos made by the iDevice owner, for their own video storage and transfer from this area.

I can understand Apple not wanting copyright material being copied from the Videos folder, but the user should also be allowed to make a separate private folder in this area.
