Share the app between apple devices

Use the same account login info you used when you purchased it on the iPad, to download it on the iPhone now.

I think I use the same account. When I go to the app do I just click install and I won't be charged?

Yes! ... if the same eMail and any other of the same needed iTunes account info is used on the new device, as was used on the first.

Just click install,.. If it was going to request payment, you'd see a price there, instead of the word "Install"

When it's already on the device, the App shows "Update".

Hmmmmm, I always thought if paid for, it says "Install".

Maybe you should wait until this is verified by Enrique, or Amber.

It won't hurt to wait :-) one or so days more.
Apple won't refund easily, but waiting won't cost anything. ;)

It's possible it will only charge if it shows the numerical cost amount,
example ... $2.99
But if paid for already it may show "Buy App" if it was never on the new iDevice yet, but already purchased.

I heard something like this from another Developers Support site, but don't want to maybe give you the wrong info, on a theory.

It's best to wait.

Thanks for posting your question here and thanks to 'gvidid1' for the help provided! If you are using the same iTunes account (same email address) as on your iPad then you will not be charged again (even if it says 'buy'). The app is universal so you can install it on both devices and you will pay only once.

Simply verify that you are using the same iTunes account and you are good to go!
