Please follow these steps to solve the 'loading albums' problem on iPhone OS4:

1. Open the 'Settings' app on your iPhone
2. Go to the 'General' settings
3. Go to 'Location Services'
4. Make sure that the switch is turned ON for 'Transfer' (our application)
5. Close the settings app
6. Run Photo Transfer again and check if the albums load (they may take a few seconds to load)

(The reason why location services should be enabled for our app is because on the new version of the iPhone OS photos are now considered a location service since they have the GPS location of the place where you took the photo. So now when accessing your photos the OS requires our app to have permission to use location services)

Let us know if this solves the issue.

When transferring photos from a Linux computer (running Firefox) to an ipad, the file selector in the browser only shows files with a lower-case extension (*.jpg). Files like IMG00001.JPG are not shown, and can not be selected.

May i know what is the technology you used in creating this application, have you used any private API frameworks? thanks for reply

I noticed, after activating the (Beta) video transfer function, that the thumbnails in your application's preview of the videos are not the same as the thumbnails in the Camera Roll on my iPhone 4.

I'm trying to only select a video that is 1 minute or less and it's difficult to know which is which. Maybe if you offered us the ability to see the duration of the video, that would help a lot. Right now I have to look on the iPhone's Camera Roll to see the duration. Once I find my video, I then go into your app. But the icons don't match, so I'm unsure which video is which.

After NUMEROUS attempts, the app will not transfer photos from my iPhone camera roll to my computer. It will act like it's going to work, and then while the iPhone is indicating "preparing photos for transfer", after about 1 minute, the iPhone screen will go blank, and then it will display the page that has the the Photo Transfer App Icon. At the same time, on my computer screen, the page that was displaying the list of photos that were going to be transferred as a zip file goes blank, and then an error message pops up that says "unable to connect to server". I'm more than a little aggravated with this app. I'm not expecting miracles, but it seems like a photo transfer app should......... transfer photos.

Is there any way to automate photo transfer from my mac to the ipad? I wascthinking of something like a watched folder and an automator script to upload files (photos, would be great if you could choose just jpg and ignore raw) automatically as soon as they come in?
There would be a real demand for this in my profession

Can you please add password protection on transfer? I often use public wifi, and anyone with simple "network sniffing" apps can find my IP and easily get to my images. Password protecting before transfer would help immensely!
