Not iOS5 compatable?

Paul Edwards 13 years ago updated 13 years ago 8
It doesn't seem to work properly with iOS5! it will download a single file from a PC, but if you select more than 1, it downloads the first and then the app crashes. I have tried it on several devices and they all do the same. As the developers addition of iOS5 has been out for months, should there not be an update?
Dear Paul,

There is an update coming for iOS5 and our app. We submitted it on October 5th and Apple is currently reviewing it. We added several new features for this update and for some reason Apple has taken longer than usual to review it. We hope it will be approved any time now.

Thanks you for your patience.

Photo Transfer App
Hi,

Is the iOS 5 update out yet? I've tried transferring from iOS 4 to 5 and from iOS 5 to 5 – in both cases, the receiving app stops after one photo, but nothing has actually been transferred.

Thanks,
Scott
Yeah, I've just bought this app (an hour or so ago) to transfer photos from my (iOS 5) 3GS to my new 4S, and I get the same problem: the app closes (completely) after a single photo transfer, irrespective of how many you select, and the photo sometimes transfers and sometimes doesn't.

i.e., it doesn't work as described.

Any news on when we can expect a fixed version in the App Store? Thanks.
Hello,

Unfortunately we still haven't hear from Apple. We love Apple but sometimes it's hard to understand how they treat developers. We submitted the iOS5 update on 10/8 and couple of days later we received an email saying that they had to take longer time to review the app. The new version has many new features (including one that uses iCloud) and we suspect that they needed someone with higher rank to approve the new features.

I'm really sorry about the delay! As soon as we hear something from them I will post something hear.

Thanks again for your patience.

Enrique

Hello everyone,

Good news. Apple approved our update to iOS5 (minus one cool feature that we could not add for now). The issue that you are experiencing should be solved on this update.

Thanks a lot for your patience. Let us know if you have any other question or problem after you update to the latest version of our app (3.0).

Best regards,

Enrique
Photo Transfer App
I just purchased this app, so I know I have the latest version. It will transfer photos, but not videos, and the instructions are inconsistent. On the Windows 7 machine, it says it accepts mov, m4v and mp4, but on the iPad 2 (running iOS5), it says videos must only be mov.

Not that it makes any difference. The PC shows that the video (1 mb, 30 sec.) successfully transfers, but the iPad doesn't show the video at all -- not in the Pictures folder and not in the Videos folder.

Also, when I make a second photo transfer, I have to refresh the browser (Firefox 6).

What's the story?
Well, I figured out how to use iTunes to copy videos over to the iPad. I put the videos in the library, then synced the device. The transfers go pretty quickly over USB. There isn't much in the way of documentation, so if anyone reading this has a question, let me know.

So I'll use the Photo Transfer App just for photos.
YES IF YOU BOUGHT OF ITUNES....dont try that with anything not in720p Mpeg4 ,H.264, especial hd videos shoot on a decent camera /cam recorder!
