Date Order Filenaming

Steve Forte 11 years ago 0
When I connect my IOS device to my mac, DropBox camera upload function assigns a date (year, month, day, time of day) to the filename (down to the second). This keeps all imported photos in chronological order from the file's metadata. So helpful to organize photos later regardless of who took them or how you added them to your camera roll.

Can you do this?

default upload folder

Jason 11 years ago updated 11 years ago 1
When I click "Upload to Album" on my computer to send pictures to my iPad, the desktop PC app automatically opens "My Documents." Can I change that to default to a different folder, where my pictures are actually located on the PC? Thanks, Jason

Don't have app store on my Mac can I still get photo transfer for my Mac desktop?

John Willis 12 years ago updated 12 years ago 1
Running 10.5.8 because of FCP 7. My Mac Pro is used primarily for video editing! I was advised not to install Snow Leopard...which of course is the minimum Apple wants to allow access to the App Store. I like this app on my phone but my home iMac is too slow and bogged down with family "stuff" to use as a photo editor and for storage!

My Mac Pro is much faster and has tons of storage for photos because it was set up as a video editor. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
John
