When I went to the App Store on both on the iPad and on me iTunes but there's nothing there.

I am trying to backup all my iPad albums to my Mac. Many of the albums back up fine. However during some of the backups, I get this error:

"There was an error communicating with the device.
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of
Photo Transfer App on this device."

I am on the same network, latest version etc. I tried to figure out what is making it stop. It appears that in some albums, there are some thumbnails that just show as a grey box. For example there is one called "daughter exercising.jpg". I can see this photo on the iPad. However, when I click on the grey thumbnail of that named picture in Photo Transfer App, it just says "loading..." and doesn't show the picture.

What could be causing this problem? I don't want to loose these pictures. Even if I try to download that 1 picture, then I get the same error message above. The picture is there on the iPad, but the App cannot see the image, only the name...
Most of the pictures transfer fine. I have already transferred 1,000s, but there are few hundred that aren't transferring.

The app on the iphone is working, and it has been working between my imac and iphone for 2yrs. A few days ago, the app on my imac just appears, but all the buttons/options are greyed out and dont work- then it crashes.
So I uninstalled and re-installed, performed a Onyx repair permissions/clean up of imac and still same problem.
The app is up to date.
My operating system is the same as its been for 2yrs, Lion. I have installed a new 4gb ram tho.
Is there anything Iv not tried?

Can folders be copied with the pics in them?

When I transfer video from my IPhone to my IPad, they no longer fall into nice chronological order. Instead they show today's date (or the transfer date). Thus a trip to China taken 2 years ago appears to have just happened. Is there a way to put these in order or insure that future transfers will maintain the original date? Otherwise, great app.

I am trying to transfer photos from Iphone to Ipad Everytime I get to the send, it tells me device not compatible. Both are on the same wifi, Ipad and iphone are not same (iphone is 5) ipad is not

When I transferred photos from my iPhone's camera roll folder to my iPad's camera roll, the order of photo on my iPad's camera roll folder is completely reversed with the newest photo being on top. I'm trying to sync both iOS devices so they share same photos under each of their camera roll folder with the exact same order. Both devices are running iOS 7 with the latest app version. The moment section of the iPad under the photo app shows correct date and order, only in camera roll, imported photos are in reversed order. When I initiate the transfer process, newest photos are imported first, I suppose that's why newer photos are sorted on top of my camera roll, but I couldn't find an option to change the order of transfer. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm working on an article and want to include your Photo Transfer software but I'm stuck - How to transfer photos without Wi-Fi using a cable? On your web pages it states numerous times "No cables or extra software required" What is the extra software? I do not have any internet nor Wi-Fi connection where I work and travel to sometimes. Thank you, mewbies.

When you install this app, it asks you if you want to "allow" Photo Transfer App to view your photos. I accidentally chose "allow". Is there a way to change that? I tried deleting the app and reinstalling and it does not give me the option again.
