Can't transfer large video
hi, just downloaded the app in order to transfer videos from iPhone4 to iPad2. works great for most stuff, but I've got 1 video that's almost 12 mins long. iphone app says 'Videos (1)', but when I click on 'Get videos' on the iPad, I get an error message: "The sender device responded but does not have pictures to share". Have tried restarting apps and devices, but no luck. Is is a known issue with large(ish) files? Or am I doing something wrong?

This Photo Transfer App is a keeper :-)
I've tried many, both FREE and paid Apps for photo transfer, including the ones saying they act as a FlashDrive... Ha!
They never worked as advertised, or just sent from the iDevice to the Computer, but not from the PC to the iDevice.... And that's annoying!
Some even "damage" the original quality of the photos, and/or don't support transfer of videos... This one keeps the full original photo quality, and works with video files too. (ones supported by the iDevice)
Also, the customer support for the other Apps was non-existent.
This Developer not only replies quickly, but is also willing to listen to suggestions to improve the App, by adding new functions to it.
WOW, and, you're allowed to install it onto another iDevice at no additional cost, after the initial purchase, using the same account originally purchased with, to be able to transfer between your iDevices.
How cool is that? .... :-D
Stop lookin' around for another photo transfer App, ... You've found it already!!!
If you're having any connection difficulties, it's something with your router or other settings on the devices being used.
Be patient, and their support team will help get you set up. :-)
Look at the reviews... More people like it, and just around 1% have a problem with something, so, that says it all! ... It's most likely a setting they have incorrectly made, or haven't made, to have it work for them, and didn't want to try.

Can the next update not need FLASH to function on the PC, for transfer buttons to show?
Hi ..
I really like the app. ... And it works very well, given the limit Apple puts on the iPad2, ... But I'm wondering why you made the PC need FLASH to show the transfer choice buttons?
My PC is an HP ThinClient and I also have EWF engaged....
(EWF disables writing to the disk unless allowed by me, and writes to RAM instead) this keeps virus infections off, because shutting down and powering back up, brings back the original state the system was at, each time.
So I don't like having to reload FLASH each time I turn off the ThinClient, nor do I like using FLASH if I can avoid it... :-) ... I found it gives troubles sometimes.
Any chance the update won't need FLASH installed on the PC?

Do photos go to "my photos" folder on pc?
This app looks great but I have a question before I buy - When the photos are transferred to pc (XP) are they on the computer like any other photo albums from camera's or are the put into iTunes? I hardly have any space on my pc and would like to store them on my seagate drive eventually. Thanks.

Photo vs Video library
I need to put videos in the Photo library, not the Video library, of my iPad so that I can get them into Keynote. Does the app to this?

why does it store previous transfers when I try to transfer more?
Each batch I transfer has the previous batch included thus limiting the amount of new images i can transfer at any given time. My solution is to continue with the transfer and delete from my imac but this is quite a labourious process...any advice would be appreciated.
