The photos were taken with a nikon coolpix s6100 and transferred to a windows pc via usb cable. I then dowloaded your transfer app and sent them to the ipad via wifi.. No editing had been done. On a similar note, when i e mailed them to my self and opened on the ipad, then saved the photos, the results were the same. Gray icons in the saved photos folder with the letters jpg on them. No action occurred if you clicked on the gray icons.
