Yes same wifi on home computer

I do have the same version on all devices. I did get to transfer pictures from phone to ipad but not to my PC which is the device I need them on to burn to a disk. When I tried again today to transfer to PC by using the desktop app it would not connect to my ipad. The PC could not find any device to connect too.
