Just to let you know I was successful! I thought I had actually closed the app on the Mac, but when I tried it again and reopened the app, the rest of the photos were there to transfer. Will use it again.

Could not find a way to close out the transfer it seemed to be in a loop. Brought up the app today on mac and on phone and it just continued to look for device. No way to restart.
