I recently started having transfer problems with transfers to my PC, although they'd worked in the past. I'd get the same result as David and the others. I'd already checked all the basic troubleshooting points, so I decided it might not have anything to do with the Photo Transfer app and everything to do with the way my network was "seeing" my iPhone.

I loaded up Network Magic, which I use to monitor my home network, and noticed that even though my iPhone and my PC were connected to the same wireless network, the network itself could not see the iPhone.

So, I recommend trying Enrique's advice about disconnecting and re-connecting to the wireless network. As soon as I did that, I had no problems with Photo Transfer.
