Well, I'm sure the app is fine for transferring photos, but it is currently terribly limited for transferring "videos." Enough that I would say the claims are misleading or deceptive.
I wanted to transfer videos from my iPad to my father's iPad today (for fathers day) so I not only paid for my copy but also gifted a copy of the app to him (as he has his own apple ID, so the "free" copy did not apply). So yes, I'd say for what I was attempting to accomplish today I did indeed waste my money, sorry.
I'd rather pay for the future version when it actually has the functionality I was needing it for. Sorry, but being better than the competition doesn't really matter much when it can't do something. It isn't failing any "better" than anyone else. ;)

It's not so much for videos downloaded from iTunes per se. I do pro video work myself and load .mp4 and h264 .movs on my iPad to carry with me. I'd like to be able to transfer those onto other people's iPads, without needing to put them on whatever computer they're syncing to. I don't expect to be able to copy paid-for iTunes video content.
But the description of "videos" should definitely be clarified somehow, because it is presently misleading.

I won't be shy, nor shy to admit my mistake, but I think I'm either missing something or we're not talking about the same "videos." See I'm not talking about videos shot with my iPad. I'm talking about videos that are accessible with the "Videos" app. I'd like to be able to share those and as far as I can tell, your entire interface only accesses Albums in the Pictures space, not the videos that may reside on the device.
If I am mistaken, please let me know, and thank you for responding so promptly. If, however, you only transfer personal "videos" shot with the camera, your description is still deceptive.

I think you've falsely sold this app. It claims you can transfer photos or videos yet there is no video transfer from iPad to iPad. Total waste of my time, effort, and obviously... money.
Very unsatisfied.

I haven't really experimented with different video formats, since h264 is presently the best quality for the size, and the Apple video of choice (I mostly use AAC for the audio channels).
I carry my entire video portfolio with me this way; it's a wonderful way to demo video in meetings, etc. The videos look great on the iPad, and with the video adapter cable, you can also play out to TVs via HDMI.
