app version is 5.11

 "I select them (pictures that I want to delete) in the app and the trashcan appears.  I select it, it prompts me If I am sure that I want to delete the pictures, I confirm, and then it says that I need to confirm on phone, however, that confirmation never happens and the app returns to previous state."

I am having this same problem.  There are photos that I can move to my mac but I can not delete.  I select them in the app and the trashcan appears.  I select it, it prompts me If I am sure that I want to delete the pictures, I confirm, and then it says that I need to confirm on phone, however, that confirmation never happens and the app returns to previous state.  I do believe that these have been synced by iTunes considering that they are old.
