I got the same problem. I was trying to transfer the pictures from my windows to my iPad, but when I typed "http:// " and the ":8080" parts, the page doesn't display as you mentioned.
I have done all the precautions which you have mentioned. I am continuing to have problems. Could I send you the address, to look if it's ok? Please let me know. Thank you
