Discovered the problem. Photo Transfer App apparently doesn't recognize 'jpeg' files. They were successfully uploaded, however, when I renamed them 'jpg'. Tedious and weird, to say the least as I haven't yet found a program that will batch convert all my 'jpeg' files to 'jpg'... which makes sense since they are identical file types.
