I always reboot before and after installs/updates. So this step was perform a number of times.

Thought maybe the issue was now related to sync/backup cache history with the new itunes so I delete the devices backup and reset the sync history. uninstalled the app, rebooted, then reinstalled the app. resync'd and backup. The icon now shows as it should and is NOT white.

(Not entirely sure why this work though. should have effected the icons appearance. Since the are files on the device. But go figure!)

Just tried re-installing the app from the App Store from the device and it still shows a white icon after a reboot.

No I had purchased another app "The New Adventures of Peter Rabbit" its icon also turns white. So its not just your app.

There haven't been many other updates for the installed app on the device yet. The only things thats different is that I'm now using iTunes 10.5 since it came out.

Let me know if there is any additional information you need to help resolve this.
