Quick select and delete transferred photos on iPad 1

Mark Farrington 14 years ago updated 13 years ago 4
Hi. Many thanks for an excellent app, which I'm using with great success to get raw and jpg images quickly on to my iPad 1 for viewing.

One question (which is a bit peripheral to PhotoTransfer App, so I apologise for this in advance, but I haven't been able to get a good answer elsewhere...):

What's the best way quickly to select a number of transferred images on the iPad and then delete them? At different times I want to delete between 5 and 50 images, for example.

Many thanks,
Mark
Aha! Many thanks indeed.
Regards, Mark
Dear Mark,

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm glad to hear you like the app.

You can delete multiple photos from your iPad from the 'Saved Photos' album only but not from other albums. For the photos stored on other albums you have to connect to your computer and sync your iPad.

To delete from the 'Saved Photos' album please follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Albums view

2. Select "Saved Photos"

3. Touch the arrow box icon at the top right

4. Select the photos you wish to delete

5. When all of the photos you want to delete are marked, touch "Delete" at the top left

I hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you have any other question or comment. I will be very happy to help you.

Kind regards,

Enrique

I just downloaded the Photo Sort App on my iPad and I was able to pick the potosi wanted out of my "saved photos" and sort them into different files. But I want to be able to transfer these new files indivisually with my "saved photos" album so that way when I want to save a photo I can have other options/ different albums I can save them in
Dear Maisie,

Thanks for posting your question here. In order to transfer your photos using our applications the photos need to be saved within the native 'Photos' app on your iPad. Our app cannot read photos stored inside of other apps like 'Photo Sort'. Each app has its own storage space that other apps can't access. I would recommend you to save the photos on the 'Camera roll' of your iPad and then our app will be able to transfer them from there.

I hope this helps! Have a nice week!

Kind regards,

Enrique
