Rotating photos uploaded from Ipad3 to PC

Transferred photos from both iphone and ipad easily but the ipad photos will not allow me to rotate them. PC keeps saying file is read only Taken the check of that box but that does not work any suggestions?

Thanks for using Photo Transfer App and posting your question here. I will be happy to help you.

What program are you using to view your photos?

Note: if you are viewing your photos on the web browser some pictures will not be rotated in the proper way. This is because the browser can't detect the proper rotation. To solve this please use the 'Download all photos as zip file' and then open your photos with a image viewing software on your computer. Picassa desktop for example will be able to show the photos in the correct orientation (for example).

HI Buggsie,

One more note, if you want to modify the photo files then please make sure that you extract the photos from the zip file first to a new folder on your computer, otherwise they will be marked as read-only if they are still inside of the zip file.
