Unzip Issue with Android version to Windows 7 Pro using WinZip 16.5 Pro

I have both the Photo Transfer App for my iPad and for my Android Phone (Motorola Photon). All works well when transferring a photos as a ZIP file from the iPad, but not so when doing same from Android. When unzipping files I get an error: Central and local directory mismatch for file "filename.jpg" (general purpose flags - local: 808 hex central 8 hex).

It will not unzip the files. i upgraded to WinZip 16.5 Pro to be certain it wasn't a WinZip Issue.

I can send you a sample WinZip file if you like. I see that you've asked for that before, but I could not find a solution.
I also found the following info from inside of WinZip. Error details:

Extracting to "C:\Users\dkressin\Documents\"
Use Path: yes Overlay Files: no
Central and local directory mismatch for file "2012-06-01_19-42-14_180.jpg" (general purpose flags - local: 808 hex central: 8 hex).
Severe Error: Local and central GPFlags values don't match.
Dear Dave,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. Can you tyr using the default windows program to do the unzip? Please try right-clicking on the zip file using the Windows File Explorer and then choosing 'Extract' to see if that helps.

Also, if the problem persists, can you try transferring a different set of photos (maybe from a different album on your device) to see if the problem continues. Maybe the issue is with one of the photos stored on the device that is messing up the zip headers.

Let us know when you try these things. We will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Using the Windows File Explorer to unzip the files worked fine. Thank you!
