Transfer error

I get an error once the transfer from Android to Windows computer is complete saying "Windows cannot open the folder. The compressed folder **name** is invalid"

Hello Scott,

Thank you for contacting us, I will be happy to help you.

When you download your photos / videos to your computer you need to unzip the file. Make sure you right click on the file and hit "extract all". From there you can choose where to download the photos / videos too.

I would also suggest you right-click the 'Download photos as zip file' on the transfer web page to be able to select where to save the photos using the 'Save linked file as..' menu.

Hi Scott,

One extra suggestion is to make sure that the transfer completes before you try to open the zip file. Just make sure that the transfer completes to 100% and the follow Amber's suggestion to right-click over the file and choose 'Extract' from the menu that appears.

If the problem continues then please try transferring a different set of photos to check if the problem is related to one of the photo files that you tried to transfer.
