Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't

I have some videos that I am trying to transfer from my computer to the ipad. All of these movies are .mov format, ranging from 30 seconds to a couple of minutes. Some have transferred fine others just don't work even ones that are only 30 seconds. They download almost completely to the end then an error message comes up saying "the video that you tried to transfer is not compatible with this device"
Hello Sandy,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

I would recommend you to try to open the 'Photos' app before you start a transfer to make sure that the photo catalog is up to date. Opening the photos app forces the database to get updated, then try to transfer your videos again using our app. Sometimes the photo database needs to be updated before a transfer takes place otherwise the 'Photos' app interface returns an error.

If that does not work then, try this:

1. Open the 'Settings' app on your device and scroll down until you find our app ('Transfer')

2. Change the switch for 'Use old saving APIs' to ON and close the settings app.

Doing this will tell our application to use the old programming interfaces provided by Apple to save your photos. It looks like the new programming interface provided in the last SDK is having some problems with certain photos/videos. I hope that will fix the problem you are having. Let me know when you have a chance to try this out.

I hope it will work after this change. Let me know if you continue having problems I will be happy to help.

Have a nice day!

Kind regards,

Amber
