My iPhone to computer transfer worked first time but now zip files cannot be opened and sometimes not found. Also phone appears to tfr but then returns to "ready to tfr" page as does the computer. Worked great first time!!
I absolutely love this app! The first time I attempted to tfr from iph4, it worked GREAT!! Now two days later on 2nd try has caused at least two hrs of troubleshooting, trying everything I could find on your site.
PROBLEM: when I am prompted to dwnld to a zip file, both computer and phone go through what appears to be a successful tfr. However, now the phone returns to state that the items are "ready for tfr" as seen prior to the tfr. Additionally, the PC screen does the same, even after going thru save or open options. I can locate the tfr'd file, but it will not open. Says several msgs: ...Adobe can't read. Or. Goes to Notepad and obviously won't open.
I've rebooted, re-EVERYTHING! Will not work! HELP! After seeing it work the first time, I was so excited and impressed. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having problems using the app.
So, the first thing I would recommend is to right-click the link to 'Download all photos as zip file' instead of clicking it directly. Then, choose the option to 'Save linked file as' which will allow you to select a place on your hard drive where to save the zip file.
After the transfer is done, go to the place where you save the zip file and right-click the file and choose 'Extract'. This should create a new folder with all your photos inside.
I hope this will work. If you continue having problems, can you tell me if you are transferring photos from the same album as the first time or are they from a different album?

The only thing I would add is that this extra step is time-consuming and frustrating. It tends to make one think that simply connecting to the PC would be much easier and faster. I transferred the same photos to a different computer and it worked fine. Unfortunately, this is not the computer which I need to use for my pictures and videos.
Thanks for your message. I'm glad the problem is partly resolved. So, if I understand correctly, you still have some problems with one of your computers? can you tell me some details of the issue you are having with that computer?
