Unable to transfer from Mac to iPad

When running Photo Transfer App, my ipad is not loading albums, and the app on my Mac is also not recognizing any albums, which is preventing me from doing any transfers from the computer to the ipad.

I've read all of the other posts, including the advice regarding the proper settings in Location services. But still no luck in loading the albums and making any transfers.

This app has worked just fine for me in the past, but I can't figure out what else to try. Please help!

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you! I'm sorry you are having issues with the app and albums.

I would recommend that you close out the app, turn off / on your iPad, relaunch your photos app first then launch our app. Once you do that, try your transfer again! If you find that doesn't work then take a picture with your iPad to update your library. Sometimes the photos library just needs to be updated :)

Also have you tried using the mac app we have available? I would like to suggest maybe using our Mac app to transfer photos from iPad to your mac using our mac app:

Just install the software from the link and then launch the app on your iDevice and on the Mac. Your mac should discover your device when you click on "discover devices" button on the mac app. Also make sure that your iDevice and mac are connected to the same network.

Hmm, I'm already running (or trying to run) the Mac app. In fact, my Mac does recognize my iPad, which is not the problem. The problem is that when I click on the iPad under "devices," the albums never load, which in turn prevents me from transferring any of the photos.

I'm obviously not the only one with this problem, given the number of other posts that refer to this issue.

For the time being, I've solved the problem by downloading a competitor's transfer app, which works just fine. But I would've rather been able to use your app, which I had previously paid for.

Have you tried checking the Settings under 'Privacy'? If you recently updated to iOS6 then this may help:
