Can't transfer all files from ipad to PC - empty zip file only

How many photos did you select on the iPad? Are those photos that you selected visible on the iPad using the 'Photos' app? It would be great if you could provide us some information about the type of photos you are trying to transfer so we can understand the problem better.

Did you recently updated your iPad to a new iOS version? It looks like some iPads are having an issue with the photos in the photo library after upgrading their OS.

Try to email a photo from the photo library to yourself for example. The people who have contacted us with a similar issue as you have reported that they can't email photos from their photo library either which means that somehow the data of their Photo Library photos is missing or corrupted.

I would also advice you to try the transfer again. Sometimes a network connection interruption can occur so trying it another time may help.

I get the same error. I have tried transferring photos from my iPhone 4 (IOS 6.0.1) to my Macbook Air and my PC and keep getting a 22 byte zip file.

I was able to transfer photos on Friday on my PC and it asked what resolution I wanted to download the files as, and now I just get the choice of either PNG or XMP.

Please help. I need to transfer photos to get them printed.

I am sorry you are having issues with the app! Make sure you do not have videos selected with the batch of photos you want to transfer. Usually that's why you get the xmp format :)

Try going through your selection and making sure you don't have any videos selected.
