PC to IPAD2 Video transfer issue

I am trying to upload .mp4 video file from windows 7 to ipad2 but it is failing with this message:
"Ouch. An error occured when trying to save an asset.Technical description:Write failed. The asset may not be compatible with this device.

Please advise

Please make sure you remove any and all spaces from the video file name and try to transfer again. Also you can open up your Photos App first and then open our app. This will ensure that your photo database is in sync.

If that doesn't work then I suggest to re-encode the video using this tool: http://handbrake.fr/

Make sure that your video is in the right format for the iPad to play.
