Can I transfer my photos stored within whatsapp to my Laptop? I have over 1000 pics inside the chat history not in my camera roll and like to transfer them in batches if possible

In order to use our app to transfer to / from your device to laptop and visa versa your photos need to be in the Camera Roll to transfer. If you can export your photos into your camera roll via the app then our app can access them and transfer them :)
