Problem with video playback

I just bought this app for my iPad (3rd gen) and was really excited since it can I could move not only photos but videos to my PC. HOWEVER, when it came to playing videos back on the VLC media player I use, the quality was terrible - sort of like a series of Impressionist paintings. Is there something different I need to be doing?

Our app transfers your videos exactly as they appear on your device. What version of VLC media player are you using? I would like to recommend that you use Quicktime to view the video and see if this helps alleviate the issue with the playback.
