Too big to fail

Barnaby 12 years ago updated 12 years ago 3
I have an iphone 4S, and have already successfully transferred over 1000 pics and movies from the phone to my windows computer. However, it seems to have hit a brick wall, and it can't seem to handle a 10 minute video I took. It gets about 2/3rds of the way then it just stops. Is the file simply too big? I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting, turning my comp off and on, and my phone off and on and reactivating everything from the start. Still doesn't work.
Hello Barnaby,

Thank you for posting your question with us, I will be more then happy to assist you!

Make sure that you keep the app running while you attempt to transfer a fairly large video. It might be best to try and sync that video with iTunes considering that's a rather large video file ( being 10 minutes ). Can you please try syncing it with iTunes to see if you experience any issues transferring it / syncing the video?

Please let me know if this helps!

Best,

Amber

One more note to this is to check that you have enough space free on your iPhone before starting the transfer to make sure that the app has room to make a temporary copy of the video in order to transfer it to your computer.

Hope this helps you!

I followed Enrique's strategy and opened up some space, but anything over 4 and a half minutes was undownloadable with this program. I just went into the internal drive of the phone and copied them from there. Thanks for trying though.
