Backup won't work

I want to backup (and not delete) photos from iPhone to PC. I initiate the session, phone says "connected" and the PC says "Backing up albums" I let it run all night and not a single pic is copied. Am using version 2.7 and Windows 10 on a Surface 4. Any ideas? Thanks, Bob

PS - this runs correctly on an older desktop running Windows 10

Hi Bob,

Sorry you are having problems. Are you able to copy a few photos using the 'Download' function instead of the 'Backup' feature? How many photos are you trying to download with the Backup? Let me know if the download of individual photos works in the Surface.

One quick thing to try is just the old-fashioned restart of the computer just to make sure everything is refreshed.
