iPhone 4s video transfer to iPad says format is not recognized in iPad
Hi. When I try to transfer videos taken with my iphone (4s) to my IPad, i get an error on my iPad - technical: "The video you are trying to transfer is not compatible with this device"

Bought your app last night, and am having this exact same problem, transfering video from iPhone 4S, but I have an iPad 2. Is it the operating system? My iPhone obviously is running iOS5, but the iPad is running on 4.3.5 ?
But I gotta say, all other aspects of the app -transferring between devices, the help built into the app, etc etc is awesome. Really nice experience to use.

Thanks for your post. Yes, the issue is that your iPad 2 needs to be running iOS5 in order to play full HD videos. If you can, please update your iPad to iOS5 and then you will be transferring your videos with no problems.
We are still waiting to hear from Apple regarding the update that we submitted that fixes this issue for other videos but with iPad 2 and iOS5 it should work.

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. The issue with iPhone 4S videos is that they are in 1080p resolution and currently the iPad 1 cannot handle videos on that resolution. Our app transfers the videos in full resolution and when they are received by the iPad 1 they are rejected by the photos app.
We are working on reducing the resolution of the videos before the transfer takes place when the receiving device can't handle 1080p videos. We will push an update with this fix in the next few days.

Thanks for an awesome app! It's exactly what I was looking for, as I want to transfer videos from my 4S to my iPad (original). But after several failures (got the "video file not compatible" error), I went online to search for solutions and saw the above postings.
So I've had the exact same situation as Steve (original poster on this thread), and am looking forward to your update on the App Store. Would it be too much trouble for you to e-mail me (and Steve and anyone else on this thread), when the fix/updtate gets approved?

Thanks for your post. I'm really sorry you are also having issues. We are getting a bit worried here because we haven't heard from Apple yet! We submitted the update on November 3rd. and we are still in 'Waiting for review' status. Not sure why Apple has taken so long to review our update this time :(
