Not all photos are transferring.
I am trying to transfer photos from a Windows 7 PC to an Ipad Mini with iOS 7.1. Installed on the PC is Photo Transfer App 2.1. All options on the Ipad Photos & Camera Options are turned off. When selecting multiple photos from a Windows folder (for example 4 photos selected) only 3 will end up on the Ipad. If I select 3, only 2 will end up on the Ipad. On the Ipad I see panels stating "saving 1 of 1", saving "2 of 1", "saving 3 of 1", "saving 4 of 1". Then a panel that states "1 images were saved to your photo album.....". 3 were actually saved instead of 4. Can you help with this issue? Thanks in advance.

When you are talking about the options turned off for the photos and camera, what options are you referring to?
The photos that you are attempting to transfer, where they taken with your device?Or where they transferred over via another source? I would like to recommend that you please close out our app, turn off / on your device, then launch your photos app first and then launch our app and attempt to transfer all your photos from your computer to device. It may just need a quick refresh / restart.

To answer your questions: The options that I am referring to that are turned off in Photos & Camera settings of the Ipad are My Photo Stream, Photo Sharing, Summarize Photos, all Slideshow options. Keep Normal Photo is turned on.
The jpeg photos I am transferring from computer to Ipad were not taken with my Ipad device. They were taken by a digital camera and transferred to my Windows computer.
I did as you recommended and still the problem persists. No matter how many photos I select to be transferred, the transfer always transfers one less than I selected.

This is Enrique, one of the developers of the app. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. I've been trying to replicate the issue but haven't been able to see it on several versions of Windows (tried Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8).
Let's try something different. Can you try using the web interface instead of the Windows app to see if the problem is the same? To use the web interface, launch the app on your iPad, touch on 'Receive', then on 'WIndows Computer' and then on 'Use web browser'. You will be given an address to connect to using your web browser. Once you are on the transfer page select 'Upload' and try to transfer the same set of photos. This will give us a clue if the problem is with the desktop application or something to do with the photo set you are selecting.
Let me know once you have a chance to try this.

Your recommendation to use the web browser method for transferring photos worked perfectly. I tried many iterations and had no problem.
However, using the "non-browser" method to transfer photos does not work for me. If I only try to transfer 1 photo, both the PC and the Ipad get "stuck". The PC issues a message "Waiting for device...", the Ipad displays "Receiving files...". and nothing else happens. Also, as reported, when trying to transfer multiple photos there is always 1 missing. It looks like the last of the group does not get transferred.
It would be nice if the "non-browser" method worked as it is slightly less work, but I'm happy the "browser" method works and I have a method for reliably transferring my photos directly from PC to Ipad.

Thanks for sharing your results. Interesting, I'm glad the web browser method work but I'm still worried about the issue with the desktop app. Perhaps it has to do with an older version of Adobe AIR. Do you mind trying to update adobe air to make sure that you have the latest version? You can do that by going to this link:

If the problem persists, there is something else that would be very useful. The app generates a log with all error messages, you can send that file to us so we can inspect it. The log files are located on your hard drive here:
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\com.erclab.air.phototransferapp\Local Store\logs\

Thanks for the speedy response. I appreciate it greatly.
It turned out that I did have the latest version of Adobe Air, 4.0.0.1390, but just in case it would help, I de-installed it and re-installed again. Unfortunately the problem persists.
I have 3 days of logs and am enclosing the latest (4/4/2012). I hope this is the place where you can accept it. If you need/want the others please let me know. I hope it helps.
