Videos won't transfer from iPhone to ipad

I am trying to transfer videos from my iPhone 4s camera roll to an ipad. It just takes ages and then says it is unable to do this. Check broadband speed (excellent) and to reset router (done). Still won't transfer, any ideas?

How large is the video that you are attempting to transfer from iPhone to iPad? Did you take the video on your iPhone? Also what generation iPhone / iPad do you have for both devices?

It is an iPhone 4s and. Iam trying to transfer to an ipad with retina display. Not sure of model but is only 7 months old. The videos are short clips of between 30 seconds and 2 minutes taken on the iPhone. Thanks
