Communication Error

The two sides need successfully link. My 4th Gen iPod Touch (iOS 6.1.6) is seen by my Mid-2009 Macbook (Mavericks 10.9.3), but I receive a communication error upon selecting it.

Does the error state that it cannot connect to your devices via your wifi network? Or what does the exact error say?

Make sure you are as close to your wifi router as possible when attempting to connect, also make sure you keep the app running when attempting to transfer via our app to your Mac.

Do you have the latest version on your iPod Touch?

correct, i know the wifi network and password but it will not connect. it says no devices found. i am using the MAC PRO and trying to find the other devices. I checked the MAC PRO and it is using the same Wiwi network

Yes, my iPod touch is Brand new and latest generation
