96000 photos do not transfer properly to my MacBook Pro and retain their individual titles.
I have 96000 images on my iPad (yeah, I know that is a hell of a lot of images!), I need to get off system. Got this app to do so. I connected the 2 devices via WiFi as directed and everything seemed to synchronize but when I tried to transfer there was a snag. Apparently I can only transfer 6000 images at any one time and the transfer does not keep the original titles of the images once transferred which causes problems determining which files were transferred and which files remained to be so. Is there a way to maintain the image titles as they are in the iPad to stay with their corresponding images once transferred?

Hi Carmen,
Sorry you had trouble with the app! Do you know if you are using iCloud Photo Library on your iPad? If you are using iCloud Photo Library then it means that most of your photos are stored on Apple's servers (iCloud) and only a thumbnail is stored on your device. This means that you can access them via iCloud.com and they get synchronized with your other iOS / mac devices using iCloud.
If you are not using iCloud Photo Library then our app should be able to handle the transfer. What I recommend you is to update to the most recent version of our app (we released an update just yesterday) which is version 7.0 on iPhone/iPad and 3.60 on Mac.
Then after you updated the apps try from the Mac app clicking on the "Backup" button and then select the folder that you want to transfer. The app should be able to read the photos and transfer them. With so many photos it may take long but the app should detect what photos it has already backed up and continue from there.
One very important advice is to make sure you have your devices as close as possible to your wifi router as this dramatically improves transfer speed and avoid network problems.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have other questions or comments.
Kind regards,
Enrique
