Duplicate File Names Being Overwritten!?
I am attempting to transfer all the photos from my iPad to my Windows PC. On my iPad, under "All Imported" I have 1,400 photos yet, when I transfer (backup) that folder to my PC, I only have 900+ photos. It took me an ENTIRE DAY and multiple attempts at transferring my "All Imported" photos using various methods to finally understand the Photo Transfer App was overwriting any photos with the same name!
It seems the app has no capability to handle transferring photos that have the same file name (which often happens if photos are transferred from multiple SD cards) so I'm left trying to figure out a workaround to get all the photos into one place on my PC.
I also noticed a similar thread about this issue from two years ago which suggests there is no fix?

Thanks for contacting us. The app was designed to mostly backup photos in the Camera Roll which have a sequential naming convention unlike the Photo Library or the All imported album. I apologize for this oversight, we have solved this problem on the Mac Desktop application on the previous version update and we will also fix this on an upcoming update of the Windows Client.
