Why is the thumbnail 'view' when selecting in the Transfer app diffirent than in the Photos app??? (iOS4)

I'm aware that in iPhone OS4 you can now select pictures within the Transfer app however the thumbnails within that app do not show the same 'section' of each picture as the Photo app. Is there a way to change the view? The problem is let say, if I take pictures of a landscape, one of my wife in the foreground and another of my kids in the foreground, I can't tell which picture I am selecting since the thumbnail view only seems to show the top left corner of each picture. Will there be an update to correct this? Or can I still select via the Photos app and copy to the Transfer app?

Thanks for posting your question here. We are aware of the problem with the thumbnails on iPhone 4 and we are working to fix it on the next update of the app. Looks like the problem is happening because the thumbnails have a larger dimension on iPhone 4 that in the previous versions and we didn't account for that change on our software. Sorry about that :(

I will post something here as soon as the next update of the app goes live hopefully at the end of next week or early the week after.

So..it has been several weeks now, and we are still waiting for a fix for this???

I'm really sorry it has taken us so long to post the update. We decided to include many other changes into the app so that's why it took us long to push the update.

The good news is that we sent version 2.0 of Photo Transfer App to Apple yesterday so now we are just waiting for them to approve it which may take from 5 to 8 days. We are excited because this new version includes a better way to connect between devices (using bonjour) and the ability to transfer short videos from iPhone to iPad among other improvements.

I would be happy to send you a pre-release version of the app that you can install on your device. I would only need your device ID to be able to create an app that you can install. Send us an email at: support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com if you want to do this so I can send you further instructions. It would actually help us having someone else external testing the app.
