Macbook to Ipad Photo share problem

It says photo sent on ipad notification, but cannot find it in my photo album??? Is my photo im saving in the wrong format?

Thanks for using Photo Transfer App. I'm sorry you are having problems using the app.

Normally all photos are saved to the 'Saved Photos' album on the 'Photos' app of your iPad, did you check there?

If not, can you tell me if you have a 'Saved photos' album inside of the 'Photos' app actually? If you don't have it you may need to create it first. To create it you just need to open a web browser for example and go to any web page, then touch an image on the web page and hold your finger for couple of seconds. then an option to save the image should popup. Saving an image will automatically create the 'Saved photos' album where we save the photos transferred. Then you can try the transfer again.

If you already have a 'Saved photos' album, then, can you tell us if you modified your photos with some software on your computer before uploading them to the iPad? We had another customer who was using a software called 'ACDsee' (or similar) that was having a very similar problem. The problem was that the software was making the images incompatible with the iPad.

Hi Enrique, and thank you so much for taking the time to help me with this matter. I'm trying to download pictures from Albanyindustries.com, can you check and see if the high-res pics im trying to download are incompatible with the Ipad. All you need to do is go the that website and click on a style until it gives you the option to download a high-res image of that specific piece... I tried saving a picture directly from the website and it seems when I open my Picture App that it tries to upload the picture but fails it blinks very quickly. The same would happen when it said photo sent to ipad using you Photo Transfer App.

Dear Graham,

Sorry it took me sometime to respond. I tried saving an image from the website you told me and I experienced the same problem as you. Somehow it looks like the photo contains some metadata that the 'photos' app is not accepting. I will try to edit the image tomorrow with a photo editing software to try to remove the metadata and see if that helps. I will post my results here as soon as I have them.

Hey Enrique, just wanted to say thank you for probably the best customer service I've ever recieved regarding anything. I would like to inform you that I finally figured out how to make it all work, i would download the pic from the website and then save it directly to iPhoto which made it simple for me just to sync tem from iTunes. Again thank you so much for the wonderful customer support and best wishes in the future.

Thanks a lot for your nice comment :) I really appreciate it. I'm glad you were able to figure out. I'm still looking at why the photo was not being saved correctly from the website and from our app. After doing some tests I think I got a clue and I will incorporate some changes to the app for the next release that will hopefully solve the problem.
