Problem opening zip folder on MacBookPro?

I went to the address I was told to on my iPhone. My photos are all showing up there. There are two options, one says "Download All Photos As Zip File (MIS)" and the other "Download All Photos As Zip File (MOV)". I right clicked and chose to save my photos to a new folder in my Pictures file on my computer. It says on my phone that the photos have successfully been transferred to my computer, and a zip file shows up in the finder.

The problem is I can't open the file! When I click on it, another one just shows up on top of it with a slightly different name. I tried both the "MIS" and "MOV" links, and they both do the same thing.

Zip file name showing up in my finder is:
iphotos-MIS.zip
But when I click on it, another file shows up on top of the first one, named:
iphotos-MIS.zip.cpgz
If I click on the second one, another file shows up, same name only with "2" next to it.

Any ideas??

So I chose the other sets of photos and it worked normally. The link on the webpage was different this time, offering 2 options, to download with full or medium resolution. The zip file went into the correct folder and opened without issue. I still had the same problem with the "Last 56 Photos" when I'd choose "select all" it would give me those same weird choices of MIS and MOV, but if I selected them all individually, it worked fine. Strange. But at least it's working now. Thanks :)

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app.

That's strange. Did the transfer of your finished successfully? Normally, the app will give you a message saying that the files were transferred to the computer, did you get this message?

Also, it is strange that the app is giving you an option to download the files as 'MIS', did you import some of those photos/videos from another device? Were they all taken with your iPhone?

One thing you may want to try is to rename the .cpgz file back to .zip and try to unzip it then. Also, try to select other photos/videos and see if the app behaves the same way.
