transfer videos form PC to iPad2

Movies are in .mov extension but will not transfer from Windows PC to iPad? It shows the JPEG image icon and not the video. Any other methods to transfer videos?

I have basically the same problem, trying to transfer from a Windows XP PC to an Iphone4.

Any help would be much appreciated.

There is a new update for 'Photo Transfer App' on the app store that solves this issue. Please update to the latest version (3.01) to fix this issue.

this is insane , not only cant U import from a pc without paying extra , but U CANT EVEN DO IT FROM A MAC! Compatibility? If U could , it downgrades the video! So ipad , useless camera , good screen , can only use the crap U shoot on it! Really come on apple we r in the 21st century ,AND YOUR PRODUCTS R EXPENSIVE ...... AVHD IS USED BY SONY,CANNON AND PANASONIC.........REALLY APPLE IS .....
