Why can't I manipulate my photos?

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help.

If you are viewing your photos on the web browser some pictures will not be rotated the proper way. This is because the browser can't detect the proper rotation. To solve this please use the 'Download all photos as zip file' and then open your photos with a image viewing software on your computer. Picassa desktop, for example, will be able to show the photos in the correct orientation.

It doesn't help,I downloaded them as a zip file.When I open them to photoshop it says"could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document"
When I save to my photo gallery I can't manipulate.
Do I have to use picassa? Why aren't you guys clear on what this app works with BEFORE people buy. It's really a headache setting this up.

I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. Please go to the place on your hard drive where you save the zip file and right-click over the file. Then choose the option to 'Extract'. That should create a new folder with all the photos that you transferred and you should be able to edit and manipulate those files. The problem occurs when you try to edit the files without having extracted them.
