transfer problem

After the transfer from my PC to iphone 4 the photos appear like white square on iphone album with the word JPG on them. They are OK when I open them
Please advice

Thanks for contacting us. Can you give us some information about the source of your photos? Were they taken with an iPhone or another digital camera?

Also, I would suggest to launch the 'Photos' app before starting a transfer to make sure that the Photo Library is updated before the transfer takes place.
