Can't load albums

When I press "Select Photos & Videos" the Albums screen opens and shows "loading albums" then the app quits. IOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 4

Are you running the latest version of the app 3.0? I would recommend that you close out the app and relaunch it and attempt your transfer again. Please let me know if you continue to experience any crashing.

Another suggestion is to make sure that 'Location services' is enabled for our app. Apple requires Location Services to be activated for apps reading from the photo library since your photos may be geotagged. You can check this opening the 'Settings' app on your device and then touching 'Location services'.

My girlfriend just loaded the app on her iPhone 3GS and it works fine.

Try to open the 'Photos' app before opening our app, sometimes the photo library needs to be updated before our app can read the albums. Also, try to "force quit" the app by double clicking the iPhone's home button and then touching the icon for couple of seconds. Once you do that open the app and the albums should load in couple of seconds. I hope this helps. Let me know if that worked.

Sadly there's no change.
Mmmh, strange. Can you try to reboot your device to see if that helps? Hold the power button for couple of seconds and then turn it off, then turn it on and launch the Photos app and try to navigate through the different albums. After that, try to open Photo Transfer App and see if it shows your albums. If you continue having issues then please tell me what version of iOS you are using.

That's really strange. Can you try unistalling the app and install it again? Did you make sure that the Location Services were ON for our app? There is a general switch for Location Services and then there are switches for every app. I hope re-installing the app will solve this issue! Let me know.

I reinstalled the app and location services is on.

This is quite strange, maybe there is an album name on your device that is causing the issue. Do you have any albums named with special characters maybe? How many albums do you have on your device? If you could send us a screenshot of the albums page inside of the 'Photos' app of your device that would be great to see if there is anything that can give us a clue of what's going on.
