To transfer from iPhone to computer you have to have the app installed on your iDevice. You don't need to have anything installed on your computer. As long as you still have the app installed on your iPhone you should be able to transfer photos. On your computer you only need a web browser like Internet Explorer/Safari/Chrome, etc. to transfer photos.
