Problems downloading from iPhone 11 Pro Max to Windows 10

While the downloads work, they leave out some photos on the iPhone (which makes me wonder which ones I'm missing that I didn't notice), and they don't download with the correct date which screws up any attempt at chronological order (for example, I wanted to download all January photos into a January folder, but since it missed my New Year's Eve photo that let me know what the cut-off point was, I wound up without that photo, but with a bunch of December photos, but then it tells me that photos from December were taken today (and I know this because the tree in the photo has leaves on it, and it does not have leaves today).
So, two problems - doesn't download all photos, and it downloads some with incorrect information.
